The Oregon-California Trails Association and the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation present the 2017 'Vancouver: Layers of History on the Columbia River Symposium,' Friday, March 31 to Sunday, April 2. The Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, Washington is symposium HQ. The symposium will focus on the Ice Age Floods and their influence on regional geography, local American Indian populations, early explorers, the fur trade, Lewis & Clark, the Oregon Trail, and Fort Vancouver.
